Anthony Redpath focuses his artistic practise on the exploration of the constant transformation of contemporary life along the Pacific North West coast, where he resides. Redpath produces photographs that seem to toy with allusion and paradox, using these to create images often laced with irony. With his strong sense of design and knowledge of technique, garnered from his work within the advertising world, Redpath expresses his interest in contemporary art, popular culture and social issues through beautifully composed, crisp and resonant imagery. Redpath's work has been awarded by and featured in many publications, including Archive, Communication Arts and Zoom magazine.
